It was in 1110 when the monks of Citeaux first planted the vines that would later become the Clos Blanc de Vougeot, also known as ‘The White Vineyard’. Now part of the Domaine de la Vougeraie, the monopole is behind some of the most sought-after Burgundian white wines – including this crisp 2020 Chardonnay, which has been aged for 16 months in oak barrels and around two months in a stainless steel tank.
