Bodegas Roda, a winery founded in the late 1980s, is renowned for its meticulous and exacting research into Tempranillo – one of Spain’s oldest indigenous grape varieties – and its ability to separate 20 specially selected clones out of 552 in order to propagate those of only the finest quality. Sela Rioja 2016 is the result of this with a young, fruit-driven finish that’s taken 12 months to mature and is exceptionally easy to drink.
